Processing specialist training team sets up a permanent team for the club in the field of educational robot. Using lab and workshops concerned with the educational robot. The implementation of the beginner courses for students inside and outside the university.
The student team can participate in local and international competitions in the software and design of the robot.
Preparation for competitions at the university level.
Welcome to Clubbotics
This club is equipped with two Dr robots ,which are fully programmable using java or c++.Intereseted students can enroll for the basic robotic training program. The course covers basic
training including the concepts of robots and installing the firmware in the robots .
X80 WiFi Mobile Robot Development Platform PRO Version
X80Pro is an upgraded version of X80, it has everything X80 has plus extras of 3 more sonar sensors (DUR5200), Tilting sensor, (DTA5102), Temperature sensor (DAT5280), IR remote controller (DIR5538), the 128x64 mono graphic display (MGL5128) and two stronger (550oz-in, 40Kg.cm) motors.
This ready to use mobile robot platform is designed for researchers developing advanced robot applications such as remote monitoring, telepresence and autonomous navigation/patrol.
Lego NXT 2.0
LEGO Mindstorms NXT is a programmable robotics kit. It replaced the first-generation LEGO Mindstorms kit, which was called the Robotics Invention System. It comes with the NXT-G programming software, or optionally LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS.
Our Work

-
Student training .
Research projects
Description:
Introduction to Robotics is a laboratory based training. It is designed to be a hands-on introduction to the challenges of the construction and programming of a variety of robotic equipment.
Equipment Access
In completing the robotics lab assignments you will spend a fair amount of time in the robotics lab itself.
Learning Objectives
The student will be able to:
-
Describe what firmware is.
-
Download firmware to their robots.
-
Describe the relationship between a programmer and a machine
-
Develop flowcharts
-
Describe how Boolean logic is used to control program flow
-
Write, test, and troubleshoot programs using ROBOTC including:
-
Control mapping for joysticks
-
Using timers
-
Programming buttons
-
Using feedback from touch, encoders, and ultrasonic sensors to program their robots to move autonomously
-
Calculate threshold values
-
Use variables in programs
-
Write functions and pass parameters
Learning Activities
The student will:
-
Build a robot
-
Download firmware
-
Read the documentation that comes with the ROBOTC training materials and complete assignments as assigned by the teacher
-
Complete programming challenge activities as they are assigned by the teacher
-
Actively participate in all class discussions
-
Write programs that include comments to document their thought processes.
-
Write a conclusion describing what they learned at the end of each programming lesson.
