Zaid Shamsan is an Associate Professor of Electrical, Electronics and Communications in Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU). He works on Wireless Mobile and Satellite Communications. He is the author of more than 50 publications. He received multi-publication awards from IMSIU. Dr. Shamsan was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Wireless Communication Center, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, (April 2010-April 2012). His research interests include LTE-Advanced and LTE-2020 Systems, rain and dust storms fading mitigation, LMDS system analysis, coexistence and spectrum sharing analysis, OFDM System, and propagation channel prediction.
