Dr. Barun Haldar is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, KSA. He did his Ph.D. research work in the area of Laser surface engineering at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Indian Institute Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. His present research area of interest includes experimental investigations and analysis in the field of laser material processing, conventional and advanced machining processes, agricultural process and equipment development, and solar thermal power concentration. He has guided 10 M.Tech. theses and guiding M.Tech. & Ph.D. research works. Dr. Haldar delivered several keynote lectures at different organizations. He has published 24 research papers which include peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
