Mahmoud Ahmadein is an Associate Professor of Production Engineering and Mechanical Design in Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. His research area of interest includes experimental and numerical investigations in the field of material science, in particular the casting and solidification of metals. He attended several international training courses and workshop related to his field. In addition, he published more than 20 journal and conference articles and participated in several European research projects. In 2015, he awarded the State Prize of Egypt nominated for distinct researchers and scientists in the field of Technological and Engineering Science. In 2017 he was invited to the Foundry institute at RWTH-Aachen Uni., Germany to conduct some advanced research contributions.
