The first year is extremely important to all students of the university in general and to engineering students in particular, because it is the foundation on which the student builds the rest of his academic life.

Important information for first year students:

• The new students meeting will be held at the beginning of each academic year. In this meeting students will be informed in an interactive way of all the preliminary information related to the rules and regulations of the college.
• The preparatory year GPA will not count and the collective GPA will start with the first semester in college.
• Students are not allowed to transfer between college departments until passing two semesters, ie one academic year.
• The approval for transfer requests between the college departments based on the applicants' GPA's.
• It is very important for the students to follow the study plan for the department in which they study. Otherwise it may cause delay in graduation.
• ​It is also important for students to pay attention to pre-requisite in order to follow the study plan approved by respective department.
