​​​​Academic Accreditation

  • ​ASIIN Accreditation

Four academic programs of the College of Science have achieved international accreditation from The Accreditation Agency for Study Progra​mmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics (ASIIN) for the period from 7 December 2018 to 30 September 2024.​ The accreditation was later extended until 30 September 2031.

This accreditation included three bachelor's programs and a master's program in both male and female sections, namely:

  • Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics.
  • Bachelor of Science in Physics.
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
  • Master of Science in Mathematics​.​


  • NCAAA Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Biology program is accredited by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA)​ with full program accreditation for the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, , and subsequently extended from October 2024 to December 2027.


  • ECTN Accreditation
​The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program is accredited by the European Chemistry Thematic Network (ECTN ) for five academic years, covering the period from 7 December 2018 to 30 September 2024, and was later extended to cover the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2029.

  • ABET Accreditation​
​The Master of Science in Physics​ is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology  (ABET) to 30 September 2027.
