Abstract:
For a given measurable transformation T from [0,1] to [0,1] , we look for invariant measures that are absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue measure.
The densities of such measures are fixed points for the Frobenius-Perron operator associated with T.
In this series of lectures we discuss the existence of such densities.
In particular we present the " Lasota Criterion " in the deterministic case and the "Pelican Criterion " in the random case.
