Introduction:

Quality assurance and performance improvement measures have accompanied the significant expansion of Saudi higher education institutions. These institutions are now obligated to ensure the quality of their processes and outcomes while striving for continuous improvement across all their activities. This is achieved by adopting a set of key performance indicators and selected benchmarking measures to evaluate this performance. Such efforts necessitate the establishment of a unit dedicated to managing these operations.

Establishment:

The idea of establishing the Quality and Academic Accreditation Administration at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University emerged on March 4, 2006, with the aim of providing independent quality assurance services at both programmatic and institutional levels. With the expansion of its operations, the administration was transformed into an independent Deanship for Evaluation and Quality at the beginning of 1430 AH, assuming full responsibility for all activities related to evaluation, quality, and academic accreditation.

Deans:

Since its inception, the deanship has been led and developed by several distinguished academic and administrative professionals, recognized for their contributions at both university and community levels:

2. Dr. Ahmed Al-Jubaili.
3. Dr. Suleiman Al-Jubeir.
4. Dr. Abdullah Al-Asmary.
5. Dr. Khulood Al-Tamimi.
6. Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Fifi.
7. Dr. Awad bin Hajran Al-Shahri.
8. Dr. Khulood bint Jamal Sandooqah.
