Registration in the Graduation Project Financing Initiative

​Introduction:

It is one of the initiatives of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, to support and promote innovation and entrepreneurship at the university. This vital opportunity provides the necessary support for graduation projects in science and engineering fields, thus contributing to strengthening the knowledge economy and preserving intellectual property rights.​


Initiative Goals:

1- Facilitate obtaining the necessary funding for the purchase of tools, software and hardware needed for implementing undergraduate level graduation projects.

2- Converting some of those innovative projects into patents.

3- Participation of distinguished projects by including them as participants in local, regional and international competitions.

4- Converting some of those distinguished projects into products or services with financial returns.


Conditions:

1- The graduation project should be one submitted by students at the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University only.

2- The submitted project should be a graduation project from one of the following colleges: Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, and Science.

3- A written approval of all graduation project team members to participate in the initiative.

4- The application must be submitted by the supervisor of the graduation project at the college.


Standards:

1- The graduation project should be an advanced project implemented using modern technologies.

2- The project should be innovative or solve an important problem in the college's field of specialization.

3- All submitted projects are subject to review by a specialized committee.

4- The graduation project should have a positive gain through one of the following:

  • The graduation project can be converted into a patent.

  • The graduation project can be turned into a commercial project.

  • The project can be qualified to participate in local, regional, and international competitions. ​


Targeted groups:

Faculty members and their graduation project course students from the following colleges:

 Computer and Information Sciences - Engineering - Science.
