IMISIU has a profound experience in a number of specialties and majors due to its historical foundation as well as the experience accumulated through its development. Being a leading scientific and research institution, it produces knowledge in a wide variety of disciplines, such as Arabic, economics, and Islamic banking, and thus contributing positively to the knowledge exchange vis-à-vis education and research with respect to national and international institutions.
The establishment of the Vice-Presidency for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication (KEIC) reflects the need for the enhancement of the capacity of IMISIU in order to contribute to the exchange of knowledge across both production and utilization, where it serves as an agency in providing educational experience and advanced research in mostly all disciplines concerned. The KEIC contrives to exchange experience and knowledge worldwide, craft and implement contracts and MoUs with key international institutions and research centers
