The General Supervisor of the General Administration for Safety and University Security, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqami, confirmed that the administration has been keen to implement all precautionary and preventive measures assigned to it. It organized the traffic flow to and from the event venue, assisted VIPs from the entrance to the event location, ensured safety measures within the building, and carried out continuous security monitoring.
This took place during the participation of the General Administration of Safety and University Security on Wednesday evening, April 2, 1442, AH, in the inauguration of the second COVID-19 vaccination center at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. The event was led by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research, and Innovation, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmad Al-Sudairy, and His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Amiri. The opening was held in the exhibition hall of the university's conference building, in the presence of the university's vice presidents, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdulkarim, who is responsible for primary health care, and the general supervisor of the vaccination project at the ministry, along with several university leaders.
Mr. Al-Buqami added that the administration had prepared plans for the workflow during the attendees' visit, from when they entered until they received their vaccine dose and exited the center. The western entrance was designated for patient admission, while the zero entrance was allocated for the elderly and individuals with disabilities to ease their access.
He also expressed his gratitude to the staff of the administration participating in the event and urged them to increase their productivity, ensuring that work proceeds as required to serve the patients effectively.
