The General Administration of University Safety and Security conducted a virtual evacuation drill at the College of Media and Communication in the educational zone on Thursday, 11/10/1443 H, under the supervision of the Civil Defense and with the participation of relevant authorities.

The Director General of the General Administration of University Safety and Security, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, emphasized that the administration is committed to providing comprehensive protection for individuals and facilities by preparing comprehensive plans to deal with emergencies.

The drill involved the General Administration of Technical Affairs, the General Administration of Media and Communication, and staff from the College of Media and Communication.

Mr. Al-Buqmi stated that the drill is part of the strategy of the General Administration of University Safety and Security to maintain the safety and security of university staff and students, aiming to provide practical training on how to respond appropriately in emergencies. He pointed out that ensuring the safety of lives and property is one of the administration's top priorities.

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the College of Media and Communication, the Civil Defense Center, and all the entities participating in the plan, as well as the staff from the administration involved.
