On a cherished occasion for all of us, the nation celebrates, under the leadership of its people, the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday, 27 Safar 1444 AH, corresponding to September 23, 2022 AD. This day marks the historic announcement by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud — may God have mercy on him — to unify our blessed land under the banner of "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.", and Muhammad is His Messenger."

Another year has added to the glorious history of the Saudi nation. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates a day on which the Saudi citizen stands proud, embracing his religion and patriotism under the guidance of a wise government that has made the development and empowerment of its citizens its foremost goal, enabling them to rise among the world's people with pride and dignity.

We ask Allah, the Almighty, to reward King Abdulaziz — may Allah have mercy on him — with the best of rewards, as he is, after Allah, the reason for the many blessings we enjoy today. We also pray for the continuity of our country's security, stability, and dignity under the leadership of our journey and source of pride, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman — may Allah preserve them both.
