The General Administration of Safety and University Security implemented a periodic virtual evacuation plan at the College of Sciences in the educational area on Wednesday, 01/04/1444 AH, under the supervision of the Civil Defense and with the participation of relevant authorities.

The Director General of the General Administration of Safety and University Security, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqami, confirmed that the administration is keen on providing comprehensive protection for individuals and facilities by preparing comprehensive plans to address emergencies.

The plan involved participation from the General Administration for Technical Affairs, the General Administration for Operations and Maintenance, the College of Sciences, the General Administration for Media and Communication, and the Medical Services Center.

Mr. Al-Buqami emphasized that the plan is part of the strategy of the General Administration of Safety and University Security to maintain the safety and security of the university staff and students. The goal is to provide practical training on how to respond appropriately in emergencies, stressing that the preservation of lives and property is one of the administration's top priorities.

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the College of Sciences, the Civil Defense Center, and all participating agencies, as well as to the staff of the administration involved in the plan.
