As part of the administration's efforts to raise awareness about the importance of traffic safety, and in light of the significance of activating awareness events. The General Administration of Security and Safety organized an awareness exhibition on the occasion of Arab Traffic Week 2024, held under the slogan "With Our Awareness, We Reach Safely" on Thursday morning, 1/11/1445 AH, in the lobby of Building (416) at King Abdullah City for Female Students. A similar awareness exhibition also held at the supporting deanships (1) in the educational area.

The Director-General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqami emphasized that the administration aims, through these exhibitions, to urge road users to adhere to traffic laws and to enhance their role in applying traffic safety. While stressing the importance of complying with traffic rules to ensure safety for lives and property and to foster community involvement in traffic safety, thereby reducing incorrect behaviors on the roads.

It is noteworthy that these exhibitions included guidance and awareness posters, a visual presentation on traffic safety to educate the university staff, students, and male and female students about the importance of following the meanings of the guidance posters and promoting a culture of accident prevention. Additionally, the exhibitions showcased images of traffic accidents and awareness publications about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and etiquette and to traffic safety measures and procedures.

For his part, Mr. Al-Buqami expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the employees of the administration who participated in the event, urging them to exert further efforts to achieve the goals the administration seeks to accomplish.
