The General Administration of Security and Safety organizes an exhibition to celebrate World First Aid Day

The General Administration of Security and Safety, represented by the Women's Security Department, organized an exhibition on Monday, 06/03/1446 AH, for the World First Aid Day, which falls on September 10 each year. The event took place at King Abdullah City for Female Students in Building 416. The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the importance of first aid, its principles, and the basics of first aid to enhance community awareness about its significance in saving lives and to encourage all members of society to acquire knowledge in first aid techniques.

In this regard, the Director General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, confirmed that celebrating World First Aid Day is an expression of the awareness aspects that contribute to informing about the role of institutions in protecting those present. He pointed out the importance of raising awareness about first aid by promoting knowledge and culture among members of the community.

Mr. Al-Buqmi also noted that the exhibition included several awareness corners and a visual display showcasing the evolution of ambulance services and methods, starting from traditional vehicles to air ambulances.

He added that the exhibition received a great turnout from the female students and staff, and he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the cooperating entities for the success of the exhibition, as well as to the organizing staff of the event.
