The General Administration for Security and Safety carried out a virtual evacuation drill in the educational area at the College of Science on Monday, 27/03/1446 AH, under the supervision of the Civil Defense and with the participation of relevant authorities.

Director General of the General Administration for Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, explained that the General Administration is keen on providing comprehensive protection for individuals and facilities by preparing comprehensive plans to confront emergency situations.

The plan involved the participation of the General Administration for Technical Affairs, the General Administration for Media and Communication, and the university medical center.

Mr. Al-Buqmi confirmed that the plan is part of the General Administration's strategy to maintain the safety and security of university staff and students. It aims to provide practical training on how to act appropriately in case of emergencies and emphasizes that the preservation of lives and property is one of the highest priorities the administration seeks to achieve.

Mr. Al-Buqmi also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the College of Science, the Civil Defense Center, all participating entities, and the staff involved in the drill.
