As part of the qualification project and granting ISO certification to 20 entities at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, a meeting of the ISO Project Team (the third) was held on Wednesday, the 6th of Sha'ban 1446 AH, corresponding to February 5, 2025, at 8:00 AM. The meeting focused on discussing the results of the analysis of internal and external factors affecting management, reviewing the results of stakeholder (interested parties) needs assessment, and revisiting the quality, safety, and occupational health policy, along with developing a plan for its dissemination and awareness. Additionally, the meeting addressed the review of the matrix of responsibilities and authorities, and the discussion of the risk register.
Representing the Deanship of Evaluation and Quality, Ms. Wafa Al-Dawood, along with the specialized quality team for implementing this project, attended the workshop. The workshop included an emphasis on the clauses of the international standard ISO 9001 and standard 45001.
The Director General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqami, stated that the administration places great importance on quality, and achieving the highest standards in performance quality is one of the primary objectives of the administration that it seeks to achieve.
Mr. Al-Buqami also affirmed that these workshops are a step towards developing the work system within the administration and contribute to ensuring the best practices in defining administrative quality goals. The administration is applying the best practices to achieve high quality in accordance with the ISO standards 9001 and 45001, in alignment with the university's vision and objectives.
