The General Administration of Security and Safety implemented a virtual evacuation plan at King Abdullah City for Female Students in Building (415) on Wednesday, 15/10/1445 AH, overseen by the Civil Defense and with the participation of relevant authorities.
Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, Director General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, explained that the administration is committed to ensuring comprehensive protection for individuals and facilities by preparing comprehensive plans to address emergencies.
The plan involved participation from the General Administration of Technical Affairs, the General Administration of Media and Communication, and the university's medical center.
Mr. Al-Buqmi emphasized that the plan is part of the strategy of the General Administration of Security and Safety to maintain the safety and security of university staff and students. It aims to provide practical training on how to respond appropriately in emergencies, as the protection of lives and property is one of the administration's top priorities.
He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the University's Agency for Institutional Development and Community Responsibility, the Civil Defense Center, all participating organizations, and the staff involved in the event.
