The General Administration of Security and Safety organizes a training course titled "Occupational Safety and Health Management According to NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupation Safety and Hearth) Approved Practices."

The General Administration of Human Resources and the General Administration of Security and Safety, in collaboration with Umm Al-Qura University, organized a course titled "Occupational Safety and Health Management According to NEBOSH Approved Practices" for men from 19/10/1445AH to 23/10/1445AH. The course took place in the lecture hall of Building 402 for men and in Conference Building No. 412 at King Abdullah City for Female Students for women. This initiative targeted employees from contracting companies, benefiting 40 male and female employees from Tuwaiq and Rimāl Al-Sawahel companies.

The Director General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, confirmed that the course included a set of key requirements for an Occupational Safety and Health Management System, risk management principles in the workplace, appropriate preventive measures, and how to deal with fires and electrical hazards. The course also addressed the correct actions to take in response to potential hazards.

Mr. Al-Buqmi noted that the aim of organizing such courses is to develop employees through these training programs, enhance the competencies of their personnel, and achieve optimal work outcomes. The course covered important aspects that employees need to improve their skills and job capabilities, positively influencing their job performance.

For his part, Mr. Al-Buqmi expressed gratitude to the collaborating entities for making the course a success and encouraged the administration's personnel to develop their practical skills to reach the goals set by the administration.
