On a cherished occasion, the nation, both leadership and people, will celebrate on Thursday, 12/08/1445 AH, corresponding to 22/02/2024 AD, the anniversary of Founding Day, to commemorate the history of the founding of the Saudi state established by Imam Muhammad bin Saud on 22/02/1727 AD. Three centuries have passed since we raised the flag, with ​Diriyah as its capital and the starting point of its glories. The celebration of this day reflects our pride in the deep roots of the Saudi state and the unity, security, and stability it has established, highlighting the historical and cultural depth of our nation from the first Saudi state until today while celebrating its diverse cultural heritage. Founding Day will remain a source of pride for our rich history and an affirmation of our leaders and their sacrifices. We ask Allah, the Almighty, to preserve our country’s security, stability, and dignity and protect our leaders and safety from harm and adversity​
