The General Administration of Security and Safety conducted a virtual evacuation drill in the educational zone at the College of Education and the College of Social Sciences on Wednesday, 25/08/1445 H, under the supervision of the Civil Defense and with the participation of relevant authorities.

The Director General of the General Administration of Security and Safety, Mr. Sultan bin Hussein Al-Buqmi, explained that the administration is committed to providing comprehensive protection for individuals and facilities by preparing comprehensive plans to address emergencies.

The plan involved the participation of the General Administration of Technical Affairs, the General Administration of Media and Communication, and the University Medical Center.

Mr. Al-Buqmi also confirmed that the plan is part of the strategy of the General Administration of Security and Safety to maintain the safety and security of university staff and students. It aims to provide practical training on how to respond appropriately in emergencies, emphasizing that safeguarding lives and property is one of the administration's top priorities.

He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the College of Languages and Translation, the College of Engineering, the Civil Defense Center, and all participating entities as well as the staff from the administration involved in the drill.
