The Local Collaboration Forum in Research and 

Development ​

Main Objectives

- Supporting the scientific research for applied purposes at the university by stimulating communication between researchers from the scientific colleges at IMSIU and researchers from the other national research centers in order to create partnerships

- Coordinating research activities between IMSIU, national research centers and the private sector in order to benefit from the 2030 vision's initiatives to support scientific research in the universities from the Ministry of Education

Areas of Research Interests

- Information technology (artificial intelligence and machine learning, cyber security, network optimization)

- Advanced materials processing and applications (nanotechnology applications and biocomposites for food packaging applications)

- Environment, energy and water treatment (environment and pollution, energy efficiency and water treatment and desalination)

Target Audience

- Researchers from the faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Science, Engineering and Medicine at IMSIU-

- Researchers from national research centers in applied scientific disciplines

- Those who are interested from the private sector

- Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU)

- Research and Development Office (RDO) at Ministry of Education
