About program
The program is provide lectures and workshops to help the unit members to know their skills, to determine their potential, and displays the work areas which recommended to seek it after graduation. Through this program, communication with officials of graduates links is done with other colleges and universities to organize common meeting between the members to share experiences among them, as well as cooperation with empolyeers to recruit the members of the unit.

Program goals

Communicate with government and private institutions to identify appropriate job opportunities for the unit members and announced them through the unit website.
Guide the unit members to the professionally right way which meet labor market needs.
Provide individual consultations for the unit members with regard to recruitment and offer some appropriate job opportunities for them if it is possible.
Provide the opportunity of cooperation between graduates unit in the college and graduates units in other colleges and universities to improve graduate level and reach to the desired level.
Enhancing the members of the unit with cognitive skills and new techniques as an extension of his academic studies and as required by labor market.
Target group
People who are interested in the functional side and raise the professional levels.

Researcher
About the program
A program seeking to provide unit members with guidance and support needed to continue their scientific research and join the group of researchers in the college.
Program goals

Contribute to enrichment of the outcomes of scientific research in the college.
Provide the required assistance to researchers by the members of the unit.
Encourage participating in the units and research group of the college.
Encourage collaborative research programs between college and its units and the employers of the unit members.

About programs
It is a cultural program that care about hobbies and interests of the unit members by organize some cultural seminars and exhibitions, for example: Exhibitions of photography and painting portraits, internal and external visits, and hosting the representatives of some computer companies and other various events.

Promote the cultural aspect of the college through its sponsorship of various activities.

About program
A program contribute to support the college by offering help and consultation for current students in study area and educate the preparatory year students about college disciplines.

A) Formation of the unity council

Unity Council is consists of a group of members chosen as follows :

A) Head of the Unit who was the college vice for development and quality.
B) One of college staff from male students department nominated by college Dean.
C) One of college staff from female's students department nominated by college Dean.
D) Four owners of active membership were selected by the unit members.

Membership duration in the council is two years renewable for one time.
If the member of the council was absent three times respectively during the academic year without providing an acceptable excuse, the unity council will be consider him as resigned.
If the member of the council were vacate for any reason, the council will select another member.
The council selects one of its members to do the trusteeship of Council work.
Form a committee by the dean of the college to supervise the process of secret ballot to choose the candidate members from the owners of active membership of the unit council.

B) Meetings of the unit council

Unit council was held four regular meetings each academic year , the meeting shall not be valid unless the attending of the majority of members , if the majority of the members didn't attend ,it becomes possible to hold another meeting in the next week and this meeting is valid with people who attend. The council has the right of holding extraordinary meetings whenever requested by more than half of its members, and in this case the meeting is limited to discuss the topics that the meeting held for. The decisions of the unity council is issued by the majority vote of the participants, and when the votes are equal, the vote of head of council is probably selected.

A) Conditions of membership
Unity membership was granted to any graduate from college of computer and information sciences who want to join the unit as a member and get advantages of its service. Membership also may be granted by a decision making through the unity council for those who contributed to the development of unit areas or those who provide financial or moral services.

B) Types of membership

Active membership

This membership is granted to those who interested in joining the unit and want working in programs and activities of the unit.
The owner of this membership has the right to candidate for the membership of the unit council.
The owner of this membership has the right to vote through secret ballot for the candidates of the unity council.
The owner of this membership has the right to get all advantages of the membership.

Participating membership

This membership is granted to those who interested in joining the unit and want to work in the programs and activities of the unit.
The owner of this membership has the right to vote through secret ballot for the candidates of the unity council.
The owner of this membership has the right to obtain all advantages of the membership.

Honorary membership

This Membership may be granted by a decision taking through the unity council for those who contributed to the development of unit areas or those who provide financial or moral services.
The owner of this membership has the right to obtain all advantages of the membership.

C) Termination of membership
The membership is terminated in the following cases:

Withdraw of the member or in the case of his death.
If the member makes any act or activity that is causing physically or morally damage to the unit, and the membership in this case does not terminate unless the unity council make a decision.

D) Restoration of membership
It is possible to restore the membership to the member who lost it upon his request by the decision of the unity council, if the reasons of the previous membership termination was removed.

E) Advantages of getting membership of the unit

Getting the membership card is allowing taking advantages of the services provided by the unit.
Participate in unit programs (friends, advisor, guided researcher) and me.
Getting the unit magazine.
The possibility of participating in the unit magazine.
Attend the conferences, seminars, workshop, and events organized by the college.
Attend the regular meeting of the unit members.
Display the success stories of the unit members in the official website of the unit.
Honoring outstanding members in the field of scientific research or in the field of work through the events held by the college.
Getting official e-mail from the college to receive e-mails messages with the latest development and updates at the level of scientific discipline, the unity, the college and university.
Getting a various services with reduced fees from the companies that deal and do business with the college.
The possibility to participate and volunteer with college in its cultural and development projects.
The possibility to participate in research projects funded by external parties.
The possibility to participate in the activities of science club in the college and take advantages from the various services.

Alumni unit is dedicated to the graduates of college of computer and information sciences who are interested in continues communication with each other as well as constantly communicate with college for the benefit of all. Graduates unit of college of computer and information sciences is consider as pioneer unit at the level of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University. Through which services and distinct programs are offered for its members.

The idea of establishing Alumni unit of computer and information sciences college was launched to complete the accelerated pursuit carried out by the college towards achieve excellence in academic, social, and research services and given from the importance of evaluation of graduates role in building the future of nation. The unit is put in its first concern to strengthen the sense of affiliation and communication between graduates and their college, invest their potential and abilities in optimal investment, develop their abilities and give them the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs, and help them to obtain appropriate jobs for their disciplines and labor market requirements. In addition to identify the public and private sector with competencies of graduates in different disciplines which offered by the college, where the graduates are considered as honorable models and national cadres that contributed and still contribute in nation building and development.

The unit is also aims to become a space for graduates through where they could find a channel to communicate with each other and share their various experiences and knowledge to establish professional relationships which contribute in community partnership developing that is mainly in the construction of knowledge society.

Alumni unit is honored when every graduate from the college become a member of this unit, and benefit from various advantages and services that unit offers. This unit will allow job opportunities for college graduates in public and private sectors, and will also provide consultation that necessary to follow their research, in addition to integrated training to meet the labor market requirement. The unit also will enable them to attend occasions and various events, which held within the corridors of college and university, and give them the opportunity to participate in various programs of the unit.
