Mohamed Shalaby is an Associate Professor of Electronics and Communications in Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. He works on Optoelectronics, and Optical Communications. His focus is on Nonlinear Optics and Optical Fiber Sensors. He is the coauthor of more than 30 publications. He received the best publication award from Ain Shams University. He received two grants in 2015 and in 2018 from Deanship of Academic Research in Al Imam University. He is currently working on Optical Coherence Tomography and Spectroscopic Gas Detection.
