College of Engineering Organizes Online Seminar on “AI in Automated Industries”

The Student Guidance Unit at the College of Engineering is pleased to announce that an online seminar titled “AI in Automated Industries” will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM via the Zoom platform.

The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Barun Haldar, a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. Dr. Haldar, who has been serving at the university since 2019, specializes in intelligent manufacturing systems, automation, and the development of smart machines and devices. He has published over 54 research papers in international journals, books, and conferences.

This event aims to introduce engineering students to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in industrial automation, emphasizing its applications in intelligent manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and production optimization.

All engineering students are encouraged to attend this insightful lecture and gain valuable knowledge from an expert in the field. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the session.
