Overview

The College of Engineering is one of the modern applied scientific colleges at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. The establishment of the College of Engineering was made possible by a royal decree approving the decision of the 48th session of the Higher Education Council held on 27/12/1428 AH, as per Resolution No. (10/48/1428) and Royal Directive No. 5151/MB dated 3/7/1429 AH. Since then, the college has aimed to become a center of academic and technological excellence contributing to the nation's development and progress. It began offering its programs in the academic year 1430–1431 AH (2009–2010 CE). The college consists of following specialized departments:

Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Electrical Engineering
Department of Industrial Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering

With strong and continuous support from the University President, the college is committed to developing high-quality academic programs aligned with international engineering accreditation standards. The college is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities that help integrate theoretical knowledge with practical and applied experiences.

The college focuses on preparing its students and empowering them with modern scientific knowledge across various engineering disciplines, enabling them to become distinguished engineers who combine Islamic values with academic excellence, scientific expertise, professional skills, and creative thinking.

Welcome to the College of Engineering at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.

The College of Engineering is a distinguished center of excellence in engineering education, research, and development. It offers six leading programs in various specializations that meet labor market needs and serve the community. Four of these programs have earned international accreditation from ABET:

Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering

In addition, the college offers programs in:
