Mohamed Farouk is a Professor of Environmental Fluid Mechanics & Water Resource in Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. He focuses on computational fluid dynamics, hydraulics, water quality, air quality, aerodynamics, and purging contamination in dead legs of a water network. He is the co-author of more than 25 publications. He has four published books at Ain Shams University in design of hydraulic structures. He was a project manager/group leader in water resources and environmental engineering department “RNE” at Dar Al-Handasah in Cairo for more than ten years, where he participated in many projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Algeria, Angola, Nigeria, Senegal and Ethiopia He developed many numerical Models in mega projects including third extension of Holy Mosque, Abraj Al-Bait “Clock Tower”, Jabal Omar, Muzdalefa storm water dams, Mujip spillway, Oued Athménia Dam outlet, spillway of the one million reservoir & Kasr Khozam Development.
