LABORATORY SAFETY

The purpose of these Lab safety guidelines is to help the student understand proper laboratory safety, to increase his awareness of the possible risks or hazards involved with laboratory work. Students must read and follow these Lab Safety guidelines and Rules

ATTENDANCE

Two-hours hands-on sessions.

Students must attend and participate in every scheduled lab session.

More than 20 minutes late is considered absent.

Students miss class for a good reason, must contact the TA for make-up arrangements to submit assignments late without penalty.

Students cannot register for one section and attend another. However, they can be allowed to switch sections under special circumstances Only.

INTEGRITY AND RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR

Students must work independently to write their own pre-labs and reports.

Copying of student-generated text, tables, or graphs is strictly forbidden.

Use of text copied from Internet sources is strictly forbidden.

Cheating will result in disciplinary action according to university policy.
