Speech of the Head of the Department of History and Civilization:

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his family and companions and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. Now then,

This site contains a historical overview of the Department of History and Civilization, its scientific and academic achievements, and the programs and activities it provides to serve the educational movement in society and the nation in general. The site includes an introductory overview of the faculty members and their biographies, the awards and certificates of appreciation that most of them have received, and what the department aspires to in terms of developing its programs and reviewing its plans; based on the importance of this specialization in serving society, and its participation with the rest of the university’s specializations in educating the nation’s children, and contributing to human development, which is the main pillar of development plans in this blessed country, and to keep pace with the changes and practical steps in order to have an effective role in the National Transformation Project 2020 and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

I ask Allah to make this work sincere for His sake and to achieve the goal for which this website was launched. I ask Him to bestow upon this blessed country the blessings of security and stability under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the King of Firmness and Determination, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect and preserve them.
