Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our Pophet Muhammad, and all his  companions.

The College of Social Sciences is one of the oldest colleges in the university and one of the most prestigious compared to its counterparts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Believing in this role, the college seeks to achieve its vision and mission in preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the era, and contributing to building a developed and sustainable society through renewed educational programs that keep pace with the latest scientific and technological developments. We also work continuously to enhance scientific research and social responsibility and encourage innovation and creativity among college members.

    It is no secret that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 carries ambitious goals represented in an ambitious homeland, a thriving economy, and a vibrant society. Through our college, we seek to contribute effectively to achieving this vision, by graduating competencies capable of contributing to the national economy, building a vibrant and ambitious society, and developing various fields of work, whether in the public or private sector. The college also has a pioneering role in developing cooperation between it and educational, health, training, and research institutions.

    Everyone in the College of Social Sciences realizes the role of planning and continuous development to achieve quality standards in all its programs and outputs, and that quality is an urgent necessity dictated by global transformations in all fields and imposed by scientific and technical progress and the knowledge explosion. Achieving quality and continuity in it indicates the efficiency of the educational institution and its members and its continuous efforts to achieve its mission and goals.

     In conclusion, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to His Excellency the President of the University for his unlimited support to the College. I also thank the Dean of the College and all the College’s staff, including deputies, department heads, faculty members, administrators, and male and female students, for their efforts and dedication to continue the College’s progress towards excellence and leadership.
