Educational Resources, Facilities and Equipment Unit
It represents the entity responsible for managing and monitoring the resources, facilities and equipment necessary to implement academic programs (classrooms, laboratories of all kinds) in the college.
Unit tasks
- Preparing the unit’s operational plan and following up on its implementation.
- Coordinating with academic departments to identify the needs of academic programs in terms of resources, facilities and equipment necessary to implement them and submitting them to the Dean of the College to address the relevant authorities to work on providing them.
- Supervising the resources, facilities and equipment necessary to implement academic programs in the college or institute, and submitting maintenance requests when needed.
- Verifying that the facilities and equipment necessary to implement academic programmes meet the requirements of academic quality standards.
- Preparing and following up on the schedule of the academic departments’ benefit from the college or institute’s facilities and equipment necessary to implement the academic programs.
- Coordinating and analyzing surveys of faculty and administrative staff and students regarding the resources, facilities and equipment needed to implement academic programs, and preparing reports on them.
- Preparing quarterly reports on the unit’s work, difficulties – if any – and proposals for improvement and development.
