Dr. Al-Askar Conducts Teams Course for KAITA Staff

Dr. Hajar Al-Askar, the Vice-dean of King Abdullah Institute for Translation and Arabization, conducted a training course on the Microsoft Teams platform for the institute's staff. The course was held on Monday, September 18, 2023 - 3/3/1445. The aim of the course was to enhance communication and streamline work processes within the institute.

During the course, Dr. Al-Askar emphasized the importance of institutional work regulation, governance of related entities, and role distribution among different teams. She also highlighted the strategies of teamwork using the Teams platform, including task facilitation, building channels, file classification (public and private), and stages of communication between teams and channels.

The Teams platform offers various advantages, such as document archiving, public meetings, private conversations, and integration with other tools like Google Drive, Email, Cloud, and Zoom.

The institute's staff actively participated in the course, implementing the learned procedures and joining the established channels. They expressed their gratitude to Dr. Al-Askar for her efforts in developing the system and sharing the latest artificial intelligence tools to facilitate and document task performance.​
