- The mathematics discipline achieved a new global milestone, registering a distinguished presence among the top 400 disciplines globally in the QS subject rankings, achieving a ranking of (301-350 globally) for disciplines in 2025.
- The mathematics discipline achieved a new global milestone, registering a distinguished presence among the top 400 disciplines globally in the Q Shanghai World Classification (ARWU2025), achieving a ranking of (301-400 globally) for disciplines in 2025.
- Renewal of the appointment of His Excellency Dr. Salem bin Ali Al-Yami, Professor in the Department, as Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University.
- Signing a memorandum of understanding with the General Authority for Statistics, on World Statistics Day, to enhance cooperation in statistical and scientific fields.
- Five faculty members in the department were ranked among the top 2% of the world's most distinguished and influential scientists, according to Stanford's 2025 ranking of scientists.
- Graduating 925 (324 males and 591 females) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics since the beginning of the program.
- Graduating 42 (2 males and 40 females) with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics since the beginning of the program.
- Six faculty members in the department were promoted to the rank of associate professor.
- Eight faculty members were promoted to the rank of professor.
- Six distinguished faculty members joined the department (2 professors, 2 associate professors, 2 assistant professors).
- Organizing 18 seminars and scientific lectures during the current academic year.
- Organizing 4 competitions as part of the department's sports activities during the current academic year.
