About Department
The Department of Chemistry was opening at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 1432-1433 H, to form a strong support for what other departments in the College of Science had begun in the path of the educational process to raise the level of students on sound scientific foundations and general scientific and behavioral skills. The Department of Chemistry is considered a blessed nucleus in the path of scientific research, which must start from conscious knowledge and full absorption of what was written by the hands of scientists and formulated by the minds of researchers. It is also a source for providing the labor market with distinguished graduates and scientific competencies trained and qualified to work in research centers and equipped with research and innovation mechanisms and responsible for leading the great technical development in the Kingdom.
