- Completion of the transformation plan for the three semesters for undergraduate program of the Bachelor of Science in Physics.
- Completion of the transformation plan for the three semesters for the postgraduate program of the Master of Science in Physics.
- The current plan for the Bachelor of Science program in Physics has been developed according to the Guideline.
- The current plan for the Bachelor of Science in Physics program has been developed according to the university's procedural guide for the development process within the future curricula project for the comprehensive development of academic programs in accordance with the standards of the Deanship of Evaluation and Quality.
- The current plan for the Master of Science in Physics program has been developed according to the university's procedural guide for the development process within the future curricula project for the comprehensive development of academic programs in accordance with the standards of the Deanship of Evaluation and Quality.
- Accomplishment of the end-of-program exam.
- The faculty members of the department won the international publishing awards for the tenth round.
- Promote a number of faculty members to the rank of professor and associate professor.
- A number of scholarship students, male and female, obtained a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) and were appointed to the rank of assistant professors
