The Student Employment Unit is responsible for managing student employment in the college.

Assigned Tasks
- Develop plans, programs, and estimated budgets for the unit's activities, and follow up on their implementation after approval.
- Coordinate with other organizational units in the deanship/administration to accomplish joint tasks.
- Receive job applications from male and female students in accordance with the approved conditions.
- Sort applications and match them with available job opportunities in the college's units and departments.
- Coordinate with the beneficiary entities to distribute students according to their skills and the demands.
- Monitoring students' commitment to their assigned tasks and evaluating their performance periodically.
- Preparing periodic operational reports on the number of beneficiaries and hours worked.
- Communicating with the Deanship of Student Affairs or relevant authorities to disburse financial entitlements.
- Develop electronic forms for application, follow-up, and evaluation.
- Prepare procedural manuals for student employment within the college.
- Conduct introductory workshops for students on the objectives and mechanisms of student employment.
- Study the impact of the program on students' academic and skill achievement.
- Linking programs to initiatives that promote professional values and discipline.
- Preparing a comprehensive database of students interested in employment and classifying them according to their abilities and skills.
- Develop and implement an institutional system for rotation among students benefiting from the student employment program, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities, and setting a maximum time limit for the number of semesters a student is entitled to participate in, with exceptions allowed in cases approved by the competent authorities based on approved justifications.
- Launch incentive programs for students who excel in student employment (e.g., letters and certificates of appreciation, and recommendations).
- Coordinate with the Alumni Unit to include the student employment experience in the student's skill file and professional record.
- Developing job performance evaluation forms for students in cooperation with the beneficiary entities within the college.
- Work on expanding the scope of operation to include summer periods or official holidays when necessary.
- Prepare annual analytical reports to be presented to the college deanship of student affairs to assess the impact and develop the program.
- Establish an internal electronic platform (or utilize the existing university systems) to manage job applications, schedule tasks, and generate reports.
- Contribute to spreading a culture of volunteerism and professionalism among students through student employment as an introduction to the job market.
- Collaborate with external parties when necessary to train students on the future operational tasks.
- Document success stories and best practices in the area of student employment and share them in the achievement reports as well as on the college's media platforms.
