The Deanship of Evaluation and Quality in cooperation with the Vice Deanery for Development and Quality at the College of Science organized a course on achievements file

The Deanship of Evaluation and Quality at King Abdullah City for Female Students in cooperation with the training unit at the Vice Deanery for Development and Quality at the College of Science has held a training course entitled: "Achievements file and its role in raising the performance level of faculty members". The course was held on Thursday 27/10/2016, from 9 AM to 12 PM, and was presented by Dr. Hailah Al-Muhanna. A large audience attended the course. Attendees were from the College of Science and from other colleges.                      

The course included four sessions:

The first session: An introduction about the portfolio and its purposes and uses.

The second session: Practicing contemplation and its effect on one's professional growth.

The third session: A review of some achievements' files and their contents, and applying a model for work and learning achievements.

The fourth session: Posting achievements file on websites.

The course included power point presentations, practical examples, and group discussions; which made the course interesting and enjoyable. It is one of a series of courses presented by the Deanship of Evaluation and Quality to develop faculty members skills in making a complete and professional portfolio. The course was supervised by Dr. Ibtisam Al-Dewish, the assistant of the vice dean of the College of Science for Development and Quality; and Ms. Amal Al-Wesaidi, administrator in the Vice Deanery for Development and Quality at the College of Science.
