The Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Ahmad Al-Qaoud, met with the students of the department in a meeting held specifically for them in order to discuss their educational matters. The meeting was held on Thursday 16/5/1437 A.H. at 9:15 A.M. in the hall (2-34).  

The Head of the Department answered students' questions and comments with transparency and clarity, such as questions about (classroom) and office hours, and about important matters that every student should be aware of.

Some students expressed their discontent with the amount of curricula prerequisites in the study plan, and with some long procedures that are time-consuming. Dr. Ahmad Al-Qaoud accepted their opinions and took them into consideration. He also explained that such procedures are meant to serve the student and help him make the right decision. 

He then discussed many reasons that cause students to go wrong such as lack of awareness of the universityregulations, and taking decisions hastily without consulting the academic advisor.

At the end of the meeting, the students thanked the Head of the Department for his care to listen and answer their questions hoping that such meetings would be held periodically. The Head of the Department, on his part, thanked the students who attended the meeting as well as the Student Committee for organizing the meeting, and promised to take their suggestions and concerns into consideration. 

Attendees had breakfast together offered by the Deanship of Student Affairs, so many thanks to them.
