The branch of female students of Physics Department held its first seminar during the second semester of the academic year 1436/1437 A.H. entitled:

 "Research Methodology for University Student".

  Dr. Wafa Mursi from the Physics Department thankfully presented the seminar on Thursday 28 Jumada Al-Awwal 1437 A.H. corresponding to 8 March 2016 at 9:15 A.M. for half an hour. The seminar was followed by comments and questions from the audience.

 The presenter of the seminar began by giving an idea about the importance of academic research and the necessity of learning its methodology. The seminar also dealt with the basic points for conducting a successful academic research.   Several points arose from discussions by a number of faculty members in the department such as the problems faced by university students in their academic research.   

This seminar is part of a weekly series of seminars organized by the Physics Department, and presented by faculty members of the department as well as researchers from other research bodies with the aim of providing the department members with the latest advances in physical sciences in various fields.

 It is noteworthy to mention that attending these seminars is open to all faculty members, employees and students of the university.
