The College of Science received a delegation from the Deanship of Institutes Abroad Affairs for Development and Quality, in the Meeting Hall, on Wednesday 01/11/1437 AH, corresponding to 10/13/2016 AD. The delegation was headed by Dr. Turki Abdulrahman Al-Muhaimeed, Vice-Dean, Mr. Naif Muhammad Al-Salhi, Director of the Expatriates and Contractees Administration, Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Shibl, in charge of the Tokyo and Djibouti Institutes, and Mr. Mishaal Tayel Al-Otaibi, Administrative Officier of the Deanship. The Delegation was received by Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Al-Daghri, Vice-Dean of the College for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Rajhi, Vice-Dean of the Deanship of Distance Education and e-Learning, and Dr. Muhammad Wasef Marashdeh, Faculty Member and Academic Advisor of the Physics Department.
The College Vice-Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs began the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the Vice-Dean and the accompanying delegation. Then Dr. Turki Al-Muhaimeed expressed the Deanship's desire to take advantage of the College's experience in the electronic administration of university education. He also talked about a number of issues that the Deanship wished to address. Then, Dr. Al-Daghri presented an overview of the experience of e-administration in the College of Science, including e-statements and e-classrooms, and how this culture reflected positively on the students and the College in general.
Dr. Muhammad Marashdeh gave a presentation about e-administration applied in the College, including structuring, work mechanism, and how to achieve the desired goals through this e-system.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Rajhi also presented a detailed explanation about the follow-up system of the e-administration applied in the College of Science and the possibility of transferring this technology to the Deanship of Institutes Abroad Affairs, which aims to organize work and save time and efforts. They also discussed how to structure their own system.
The presentation and discussion won the approbation and admiration of the visiting delegation. They also discussed the possibility of benefiting from e-administration of the College of Science in the administration of the Deanship of Institutes Abroad Affairs in the near future.
