Professor Isma'il Buqufah Presents the First Academic Seminar of the First Semester in the Department of Physics

The Scientific Committee in the Physics Department organized the final scientific Seminar for this academic year 1437/1438 AH, entitled "Entanglement Transfer between Bipartite Systems."

Professor Isma'il Buqufah, Professor in the Physics Department at Al Imam University, presented the Seminar on Tuesday, 01/03/1438 AH, corresponding to 10/04/2016 AD, at 11:00 am, for half an hour. It was followed by questions and discussions from the audience.

The speaker started the Seminar by giving an idea about the accurate transfer of the initial encrypted entanglement between two-level atoms, which sends sequence through two omnidirectional pattern hollows. He then said that in case the frequency of atomic transition and frequency of the hollow pattern were the same, the transfer to initial entanglement will be incomplete regarding other couples. Faculty members and students of the Department were involved in the discussion regarding several points, including how to create the optimal entanglement between atoms and one of the hollow patterns.

This Seminar falls within a series of seminars held every two weeks by the Scientific Committee in the Physics Department and presented by faculty members in the Department and researchers from other research institutions. Dr. Raed Al-Hathlool, Head of the Scientific Committee in the Department, supervises these series of seminars and Dr. Jaber Al-Ghoul, Member of the Scientific Committee, coordinates and manages them. They aim at motivating the scientific research environment in the Department and informing its members of the latest advances in various fields in Physics.

It is noteworthy to mention that attending these seminars is open to all University members, including faculty and staff members and students.

Abstract:

The issue of accurate transfer of the initial encrypted entanglement between two-level atoms, which sends sequence through two omnidirectional pattern hollows, is investigated. Each of the two atoms and hollow patterns form a four cuboid system. Then, we keep the conditions of the total initial encrypted entanglement inside the other couple atoms the same. We found that in case the frequency of atomic transition and frequency of the hollow pattern were the same, the transfer to initial entanglement will be incomplete regarding other couples. In case of accurate resonance and equal correlation coefficient between atoms and hollow patterns, the initial phase of the ultimate entanglement between the atoms could be transferred completely to the hollow patterns. When transferring other couples which are limited to 0.05%, we find that the total transfer of the initial entanglement of other couples may be accomplished if the first phase is not the phase of ultimate entanglement and the coefficient of the atoms correlation with hollow patterns is not equal. Depending on the ratio of the correlation coefficient, the optimal entanglement between atoms and one of the hollow patterns could be formed.
