Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Planning, Development, and Quality, Prof. Khaled Al Abdulraman chaired the meeting recently organized by the Deanship of Assessment and Quality with male and female College Vice-Deans for Development and Quality in the Round Hall in the Conference Building and in the Support Hall in the Ladies section.
The College delegation of the meeting was headed by the College of Science Vice-Dean for Development and Quality, Dr. Raed Hussain S Alhathlool. The meeting was also attended by Female Assistant of Vice-Dean for Development and Quality Dr. Abeer Saleh Al_Nahdi, Head of the Development and Quality Unit Dr. Abdulwahed Khaleel, Head of Statistics, Documentation, and Data Analysis Unit Dr. Anees Gherbal, and Prof. Ali Hannash, member of Development and Quality Unit. The College Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality was honored with the presence of College Female Vice-Dean for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Khuloud Albluwi, and Female Vice-Dean of Mathematics Dr. Mona Asfour.
Dr. Al Abdurrahman expressed thanks and appreciations to the University Vice-Rectors, the Chancellor and General Overseer of technical affairs,the Dean of Evaluation and Quality, Deans of colleges and Supporting Deanships and male and female Vice-Deans for Evaluation and Quality for their efforts and accomplishments that will contribute in accrediting the university as an Independent Institution according to the set plans. He then thanked the attendees for their dealing with the topics of the meeting. Such meetings and occasions that acquire the attention of university officials and focus on supporting and continuing the necessary procedures of the university roadmap, which aims at achieving the requirements of academic and institutional accreditation as a centre of increasing importance with the ongoing expansion in academic fields in Saudi Arabia. The basis of this objective is a set of successful decisions considered as a special contribution to increase the abilities of those working in the academic field and the quality of University outcomes. The vice-rector also thanked the university acting Rector Dr. Fawzan Al Fawzan for his continuous support and attention for the carried out procedures for accomplishing academic and institutional accreditation.
The College of Science Vice-Dean for Development and Quality Dr. Raed Hussain S Alhathlool expressed gratitude to the Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality and the Dean of Evaluation and Quality for their compliments to the college and their praise of its distinctive accomplishments and efforts in the fields of quality, development and academic accreditation. In addition, he thanked Members of the F College working in DQ for what has been achieved in this regard.
The meeting is one of the university efforts aiming to satisfy the requirements of academic institutional accreditation as soon as possible. It aims at taking a close look on plans and processes of the assigned roadmap in order to acknowledge what the involved parties and divisions of DQ in every unit have done so far in this regard. In addition to the intellectual enrichments of such meetings, which are benefitting to administrative and academic work, upon which many hopes and ambitions are built to increase the adequacy of quality in order to match the standards.
