Providing a distinguished research environment in the fields of science to develop scientific competencies, by supporting researchers from faculty members and graduate students. Opening new horizons and cooperation in scientific research with  different disciplines  inside  university and other  university to contribute to increasing scientific production that meets the requirements of development.

• Linking scientific research to the university's objectives and development plans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  
• Contribute to the preparation of strategic and interim plans for scientific research at the university.
• Implementation of the programs and projects related to the college included in the strategic and interim plans for scientific research at the university.
• Emphasizing the scientific principles of research and keenness to prepare a generation of researchers experienced in sober scientific research.
• Taking care of collective scientific research through the formation of research teams or participation in scientific units or committees concerned with preparing research implemented according to a timetable through scientific cooperation between professors from inside and outside the college.
• Avoiding duplication and repetition and trying hard to benefit from previous studies and research.
  
• Encouraging the preparation of research related to the college's specializations and interests and achieving its objectives.
  
• Serious follow-up of the scientific research movement in the world to identify its plans and programs that benefit scientific research issues in the college.
  
• Supervising the affairs of scientific research in the college.
