The Scientific Committee of Physics Department organized a scientific seminar entitled: 

  
"III-V Compound Semiconductors for Optoelectronic Devices: Application to Solar Cells and Laser Diodes"

The seminar was given by Dr. Abdulmajeed Salehi, a researcher at the National Center of Nano Technologies researches at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.

 The lecture was held on Tuesday, 28 Rabe' I, 1436  AH - 17 February, 2015 AD, at 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at grand hall (3001) at the college. Remarks and questions by the audience of college staff members followed the lecture.

This seminar is part of a weekly series seminars organized by the Scientific Committee of the Physics Department given by staff members and researchers from other research institutions. They aim at motivating scientific research at the department and getting its members aware of the latest developments in physics sciences of various fields.

It is worth mentioning here that attending these seminars is open to all university staff including instructors, students and workers as well as staff of the female student department since the seminar is streamed to King Abdullah City for Female Students
