في إطار النشاط العلمي والبحثي لقسم الرياضيات والإحصاء بكلية العلوم، أقام القسم ندوة علمية (سمنار) بعنوان:
Study of Diverse Wave Patterns and Interaction Phenomena to Various Dynamical Models

وقد تناولت الندوة العلمية:
The current study investigates a (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear electrical transmission-line model employing the Atangana–Baleanu derivative to efficiently characterize wave propagation along network lines. The generalized exponential rational function method is successfully utilized to derive several novel soliton solutions, exhibiting distinctive profiles such as exponential, hyperbolic, periodic, dark, kink, singular, and combo structures. Furthermore, a comprehensive qualitative analysis of the corresponding dynamical system is performed using concepts from chaos and bifurcation theory. Both non-perturbed and perturbed dynamical scenarios are thoroughly examined through various chaos-diagnostic tools, including return maps, power spectra, bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponents, sensitivity analysis, and phase portraits. Return maps are used to evaluate the power-frequency response of the system, while susceptibility to time delays is systematically investigated. Interestingly, the perturbed system exhibits chaotic, periodic, and quasi-periodic behaviors, offering deeper insights compared to previously reported results. By enhancing predictive capabilities for nonlinear, chaotic, and complex behaviors commonly observed in real-world engineering applications, this work significantly advances the understanding of wave-propagation dynamics in electrical transmission networks.

وتأتي هذه الندوة ضمن سلسلة الأنشطة العلمية التي يحرص قسم الرياضيات والإحصاء على تنظيمها بشكل دوري وذلك في إطار تعزيز النشاط البحثي والأكاديمي بالقسم وحرصاً على إتاحة الفرصة للتفاعل العلمي وتبادل الخبرات والمعارف بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين وطلاب الدراسات العليا بالقسم.
