​في إطار النشاط العلمي والبحثي لقسم الرياضيات والإحصاء بكلية العلوم، أقام القسم ندوة علمية (سمنار) بعنوان:

Stabilizing of an ill-posed inverse problem by using hyperbolic heat equation model

قدّمها سعادة الدكتور خالد مسعود، وذلك صباح اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 29/4/2026 م في تمام الساعة 8:00 صباحاً بقاعة 2-079B بالكلية.

وقد تناولت الندوة العلمية:

 المسألة العكسية؛ المسألة غير المحددة جيدًا؛ تنظيم المسألة؛ نماذج توصيل الحرارة المكافئة والزائدية

The recovery of initial profile with parabolic model is extremely ill-posed and it is desirable to develop a method to recover some useful information about the initial profile. It is demonstrated in this talk that the recovery of the initial profile by a parabolic model is highly unstable in case of corrupted data, however, it is possible to recover the initial profile in a stable way by reformulating the problem by a hyperbolic model together with a smoothing splines method. One example is used for comparison of parabolic model and the proposed model for different modes and time displacements. A graphical comparison is given between the proposed model and the parabolic model.

كما استعرض الدكتور أبرز المحاور والنتائج ذات الصلة بالموضوع مقدماً طرحاً علمياً قيماً يثير نقاشاً مثمراً بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب الحاضرين.

وتأتي هذه الندوة ضمن سلسلة الأنشطة العلمية التي يحرص قسم الرياضيات والإحصاء على تنظيمها بشكل دوري وذلك في إطار تعزيز النشاط البحثي والأكاديمي بالقسم وحرصاً على إتاحة الفرصة للتفاعل العلمي وتبادل الخبرات والمعارف بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين وطلاب الدراسات العليا بالقسم.
