في إطار النشاط العلمي والبحثي لقسم الفيزياء بكلية العلوم، أقام القسم ندوة علمية بعنوان:

Phenomenology of CP- odd Higgs boson(A) decays to Higgs boson (h) and Z boson

وقد تناولت الندوة العلمية ما يلي​:

In this seminar we talk about the motivations behind investigating this channel in 2HDM (inverted hierarchy IH). This channel in this scenario has not been explored experimentally by ATLAS and CMS. That reason makes the channel promising.

Then we introduced the theoretical framework of 2HDM and explaind the theoretical constraints. Also we introduced the experimental constraints. That the parameter space should respect. 

This channel was investigated by CMC but in normal hierarchy scenario. 

We compare our results with the CMS results of the cross section and we see in inverted scenario the cross sections are more larger than the cross sections in normal hierarchy. 

This make the signal more visible in IH than NH.

في هذه الندوة تم شرح دوافع دراسه هذا الاضمحلال في IH حيث انه تم دراسته عبر CMS في السيناريو NH. استعرضنا جهد الهيجز والقيود عليه لتتحقق شروط ان يكون محدود وقيمته منتظمة وموجبه وايضاً تم توضيع الشروط العمليه الناتجه من سنوات من البحث عن إشارة الهيجز من قبل LHC. وبعد تطبيق القيود تم دراسة التفاعل في IH ومقارنه المقطع المستعرض مع ما تم اكتشافه تجريبيا في سيناريو NH. وتم التوصل الى ان نتيجه المقطع المستعرض في IH أكبر من المقطع المستعرض في NH. هذا يدل على ان أشاره A هيجز بوزون يمكن رصدها في IH​.
