(First Phase: 1/1/2026 – 30/6/2026)
1. The applicant must be a faculty member at the university, and must be a PhD holder and working at the time of application.
2. The research must not have received financial support from the university.
3. In the event that two or more researchers from within the university participate in a single research paper, the priority in eligibility for support applications will be given to the corresponding author, followed by the author whose name appears first in the order, and pledges to distribute the support reward to participating researchers from within the university.
4. The program does not support papers that include more than two corresponding authors.
5. Applicants must submit a research paper or review article published in journals indexed in the Web of Science and ranked in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd quartile, according to the Joint Citation Reports (JCR) category, which assigns an impact factor (JIF) for applicants from applied colleges (Science, Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science and Information, Nursing, and equivalent disciplines).. For applicants from humanities and social sciences colleges, papers published in Scopus-indexed journals ranked in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd quartile are also accepted; however, for applicants from the College of Business, only papers published in the 1st quartile are accepted, according to Scopus database. Applicants from Sharia and Arabic studies colleges who completed their doctorate in Arabic are also eligible to submit papers published in the Arcif database and ranked in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd quartile.
6. Papers published in Web of Science, and classified within "Emerging Sources Citation Index" are not accepted.
7. The average classification is calculated if the journal is classified in more than one field, and the journal classification is calculated based on the date of publication of the research paper to the journal.
8. The authors' affiliation from within the university must be a single affiliation, in the following form:

9. Applying for support for published papers is limited to the date specified for the first stage, and meet the publication requirements.
10. The maximum number of scientific papers that meet the publication criteria and are allowed to be submitted for support by each applicant during this stage is 10.
11. The research group must consist of at least three members, and the names of at least two of them must appear on the research paper.
12. The reward of the published research paper is calculated according to the previous regulations in force in 2025.
13. The support included in this program is encouraging, subject to the university's discretionary authority, and does not entail the creation or claim of rights by those covered by it.
14.The researcher is committed to ethics of scientific research, ensuring the originality of the research and not publishing it previously, and attaching the required documents and forms.
15.These regulations are subject to the systems and regulations applied at the university, and the disbursement of the support amount is linked to the extent to which the university provides the necessary financial liquidity for the program's budget.
