Obligations the Researcher
1.Fulfilling all scientific requirements by publishing one reserach article in one of the two journals, Nature or Science.
2. The applicant for support must be a faculty member or someone of similar standing at the university who holds a PhD and is still employed.
3. Research papers published before the date of signing the agreement are not counted, nor are research papers submitted to other funding programs counted as research production.
4. The name of the Second Party must appear on the research paper. Provided that the number of co-authors of the paper does not exceed 40, and the exception to this is when the Researcher is the first or corresponding author.
5. the Researcher is committed to indicating the affiliation with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University on each published research paper as the first and only affiliation, and it shall be in the following format:

Value of the Agreement The second party shall be paid a reward of
between (250,000 - 300,000) Saudi Riyals for the published research paper. The
Permanent Committee for Scientific Research and Innovation shall determine the
amount of the reward due based on the extent of the paper’s impact on the
university, including the level of research leadership of the second party, the
number of contributing researchers from within the university, and the total
number of authors on the paper, and mentioning the Funding Statement on the
published paper.
Duration of the Contract
1. The duration of the agreement shall be determined from the date of sending the research paper to the journal, and shall end on the date of publication of the research paper, provided that the period between the date of sending and the date of publication does not exceed one calendar year.
2. In the event that there is more than one author of the paper from within the university, the Researcher is committed, upon submitting a request for support, to bring the approval of the rest of the researchers from within the university on his eligibility to sign the agreement.
3. It is allowed to apply to close the agreement after completing the publication, and this does not affect the disbursement of full reward dues if all publication requirements are met.
4. This agreement shall be automatically deemed null and void upon receipt of an official notification indicating the rejection of the scientific paper for publication. Consequently, neither party shall bear any obligations or liabilities as a result.
Affiliation
1. All researchers from within the university must have a single affiliation, and the university does not support research that contains a double affiliation.
2. The affiliation of the researchers affiliated with the university must be mentioned in one format only:

Acknowledgments and Appreciation
The Funding Statement is preferred to be mentioned in the published research, referring to the Deanship of Scientific Research at IMSIU in exchange for the financial support provided through the program, as follows:
